We’re Open as Usual – Come and Visit NewStarts!
Despite the current Stoke Road closure, we want to reassure all our visitors, supporters and donors that NewStarts in Bromsgrove remains fully open and accessible.
If you’re heading to us, you can continue down Stoke Road as normal—there’s no need to follow the diversion up New Road. Access to Sherwood Road is open to local traffic, and that includes anyone visiting NewStarts.
What We Do
NewStarts is a local charity supporting individuals and families in need across Bromsgrove and beyond. We provide:

Quality, low-cost reused furniture and white goods—perfect for anyone setting up or sustaining a home on a budget.

Emergency food parcels for people in urgent need.

Digital inclusion support –provision of used IT equipment and repairs and servicing at affordable prices

Uniform Bank – free school uniform available to everyone.

Community Supermarket – every Thursday between 2pm and 5pm

Bromsgrove and Redditch Baby Bank – every Thursday except the first Thursday of the month, from 10:30am to 1.30pm.

Money and debt advice – every Thursday between 2.30pm and 4pm or by appointment

Volunteer and donation opportunities for those wanting to give back to their local community.

Don’t Let the Road Signs Stop You!
We know the signage can be confusing, but rest assured—you can still reach us easily. Just carry on down Stoke Road and turn onto Sherwood Road as usual.
